Checked that and it was in spec, which was 470nF . 490nF is within tolerance of both the cap and my crappy meter. I a lso cleaned the main ground, which didn’t help . New ignition module comes in today. Only I could manage to break an 80s Honda.

Are all your connections solid inside the distributor? I had a weird, occasional ignition problem with the racecar once that turned out to be a loose spade terminal inside the distributor . Once I finally figured it out, I crimped the female end of the connector a bit tighter and it has been fine ever since.

I’m really curious to see how this ends, because this sounds an awful lot like what my Raider did   does

*I like to pretend it didn’t happen, but after all my work switching to a Weber, it definitely started to miss, exactly like it was with the stock Mikuni.

Also I’m replacing the Volvo’s condenser and points tomorrow or Sunday, hopefully that makes it run....

Still not running....I have a new condenser and points to install this weekend. If that doesn’t get it strong  enough spark, or if it does, and it still doesn’t run, I’m pretty much out of ideas.

Nah, if any engine swaps happened it would probably be a B30 from a 164. Or a BMW M20 or M50. But realistically it’ll stick with the same engine, because I don’t have anything close to the space and equipment  I’d need to do that

Might do. OEM ones are NLA, so I’d have to wing it with a generic replacement, which is fine.

Their stock probably melted, with spring rolling around and their H onda being Part Snow.
